We believe all children deserve the right to an education. Over the past 20 years, Vietnam has made significant progress towards providing education for all children, yet ethnic minority, disabled and disadvantaged children can still be overlooked.

It is estimated that over 95% of children are enrolled into school by the age of 6, however with over 22 million children under the age of 14 (2020 est), this means over a million children who deserve an education are still slipping through the cracks.

Help us to give these children the most wonderful gift of knowledge, help to empower them and give them the tools to change their destiny; for education is the passport to the future.

La San Tan Hung Charity School - HCMC

La San Tan Hung Charity School was founded by the De La Salle Brothers and provides free education for disadvantaged children. Ho Chi Minh City over the last 10 years has become a bustling city that has been compared to nearby Singapore. The growth has been great for the country and has provided many employment opportunities. However, many of the workers are coming from rural Vietnam who are migrating their family to the city, only to find the cities living expenses too much of a burden, therefore having to pull their children out of school.

The schools mission is to provide free, quality education

for all those in need. The school operates through local

and overseas donations, with the cost to sponsor 1 child at 7million dong ($300USD) for the entire year.
